I have been studying for a Ph.D. in Computer Science at the Department of Computer Science of University of Southern California since January 2006. Currently, I am working as a research assistant in the Database Systems Lab under the supervision of Prof. Shahram Ghandeharizadeh.

My primary research interest lies in the area of Multimedia Information Systems. I am particularly interested in various issues arising in design and implementation of a multimedia streaming system over ad hoc network of wireless devices, including:

• Online Data Placement and Replication
• Cooperative Cache Management
• Distributed Admission Control
